Music & Play
COVID-19 Protocols
(effective September 20, 2021)

Masking Protocols:
After careful consideration, we will be modelling our masking protocols from those that the public and Catholic school boards are following.  That said, due to the spacious nature of our studio and the diversity of ages that we teach, some of our masking protocols may differ from those of the School Boards. We will continue to re-assess these protocols throughout the year to ensure compliance with all governmental and AHS regulations and guidelines and most importantly – to ensure the safety of our students and their families!

These are difficult times for everyone, and we ask that you please respect each other as we all once again work through a new phase of Covid-19. Stay safe and be kind!

General M&P Site Protocols

  • While inside the public areas of the school, masks should be worn at all times.
  • Hand hygiene remains the same as last year; all students must wash or disinfect their hands before entering their class and are encouraged to sanitize after class.
  • Students and/or family members should not attend class or come to the studio if they are feeling unwell or exhibiting any Covid-related symptoms. Should this occur, please consult, and follow, all AHS guidelines in regard to testing and/or quarantine.
  • Facility cleaning protocols remain in place to ensure the proper sanitation of all spaces and more regularly in high-touch areas.
  • Any instruments, or materials that students receive/use during classes will be returned to the teacher at the end of class to be properly cleaned and sanitized.
