NEW: Employment Opportunity – Part-Time Contract Private Piano Teacher
Teaching Options: Primarily In-Studio (in-home and online if desired)

The Music Studio is accepting applications for an additional piano teacher to join us for the 2026-2027 year. The successful candidate will be comfortable with all ages of students.

If you have high standards for music education, love to inspire students and enjoy seeing youth grow and thrive through music and would like to be a part of West Calgary’s leading music school we want to hear from you.

Private Piano Teacher applicants must have:
– minimum Grade 9 RCM or CC.
– previous teaching experience with students of all ages through early conservatory grades.
– knowledge and previous application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum for private lessons, and the availability to work on days noted – depending on student loads.

Successful applicants will be friendly and outgoing, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, love working in a team and possesses a reliable way getting to the Studio.

The Music Studio is accepting applications for a Part-Time Violin Teacher to join the studio for the 2026/2027 year. If you have high standards for music education, love to inspire students and enjoy seeing youth grow and thrive through music and would like to be a part of West Calgary’s leading music school we want to hear from you. In-studio teaching is required.

As a successful applicant, you are friendly and outgoing, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, love working in a team and possesses a reliable way of getting to the Studio. You have previous private teaching experience (with all ages of students) as well as knowledge and previous application of standard teaching methods and lesson curriculum for private lessons, and the availability to work on days noted – depending on student loads. Post-secondary music education and previous teaching experience on a variety of string instruments is an asset.
